Consult online.
Consult at our clinics.
Consult at the
patient's bedside.
Diagnex is building home-care infrastructure on a thirty-year diagnostics foundation. We are looking for the consultants who will lead it — across nephrology and every speciality that follows a patient home.
New to Diagnex
Who we are, what we operate, and why a diagnostics group is building home care.
The backgroundAlready with Lakhotia Diagnostics
You know the group. Skip the introduction — here is what is new and what we are asking.
Ways to practiseNephrology & dialysis
Home haemodialysis, the mobile unit, and supervision of a defined cohort.
The programmeA rollout to 14 further cities is planned through FY 2026–27, bringing the network to 18.
The constraint is not
clinical knowledge.
It is reach.
India's renal burden has outgrown the physical footprint of its dialysis infrastructure and the availability of its nephrologists. The question is no longer what medicine knows — it is how far a specialist opinion can travel.
Sources: Global Dialysis Perspective — India, CJASN; Clinical Kidney Journal, cost of haemodialysis in India; Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme estimates. Figures indicate national burden, not Diagnex volumes.
A doctor cannot
build this alone
Delivering clinical care at a patient's home is not a scheduling problem. It requires infrastructure that no individual practice can carry:
- Trained dialysis technicians and nursing staff, with competency reassessment
- Machines, water treatment, maintenance and consumables supply
- Scheduling, logistics and patient coordination
- Bedside diagnostics and sample processing
- Pharmacy and medicine delivery
- Records, billing, statutory compliance and waste handling
What the integration
gives you
The operational payoff is specific. On this platform:
- A prescription written at home is executed at home
- A blood test ordered is collected at home and processed in the group's own laboratories
- A medicine prescribed is delivered to the same address
- A referral to another speciality stays inside one panel
- All of it returns to you as one record, not four disconnected ones
Lakhotia Medical Centre was founded in 1995 to give referring physicians diagnostic confidence. This is the same obligation, extended to the patient's home.
Everything the patient needs.
One clinical record.
Each of these already operates. The doctor sits at the centre — not at the end of a referral chain.

on Wheels
Every session runs on a named consultant's prescription. Every parameter is logged. Every deviation comes back to you. The patient does not transfer out of your care — they stay in it, at an address you could not otherwise reach.
Patient selection is your decision
We do not enrol patients into home haemodialysis. We assess feasibility of the home environment, water point, electrical load, access and attendant support, and return that assessment to you. Suitability, modality and prescription remain entirely with the treating nephrologist.
Dialysis on Wheels
A self-contained mobile haemodialysis unit — machine, water treatment, power and clinical team in one vehicle. Pilot completed. Rollout is underway in Kolkata and Mumbai, followed by partnership-based expansion.
You choose the shape
of the commitment
Empanelment is not a job and not an exclusivity arrangement. Most of our consultants hold full hospital and private practices.

The administrative load
is ours, not yours
Scheduling, patient coordination, records, billing and compliance sit with Diagnex. What reaches you is the clinical decision.
Status: Diagnex Core is in development and goes live in September 2026 at doctors.diagnexhealth.com. Empanelment is open now — credential verification and agreements take several weeks, and we would rather do that work before launch than after.
Teleconsultation on Diagnex Core is delivered only by registered medical practitioners and held to the same professional standards as in-person care, in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. Patient identity verification, informed consent and record maintenance are captured on the platform. Personal data is processed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
We would rather you interrogated our protocol than took our word for it
Panel consultants may inspect the water testing log, machine service history, technician certification file and incident register at any time, on request.

you commit to anything.
Empanelment begins with a conversation and a site visit — not with paperwork. A member of the empanelment desk will contact you within 3 working days.
